ASSOC Traditional Camp
If you ask any actuarial student, they will undoubtedly tell you that Camp is an event that you cannot miss. It is the perfect time to enjoy the holidays (free from university stress) and have a great time with your fellow peers. You are guaranteed to make new friends in this weekend packed with activities along with a lifetime of memories.

ASSOC Orientation Camp
Think camp, but reimagined in the urban environment of the Sydney CBD. Orientation Camp is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with uni and ASSOC culture, make some new friends and strengthen your existing relationships!

Meet and Greet
First ASSOC event of the year. As the name of the event speaks, this event is for first year actuarial students to meet each other and other actuarial students from the years above. In this event, you will meet students from overseas and from different high school. Come and play classic ice-breaking games to know your new friends better! ASSOC welcome you on board! Let your journey to seek for new friendships that will blossom and prosper starts here!

ASSOC Ball
Prepare yourself for one of ASSOC’s largest events in the year! This September, we invite you to Luna Park, where you can enjoy the harbour views while rocking out to the DJ’s tunes. There will also be food and drinks so you already know that you’ll have enough energy to show off your sick dance moves to your friends. When you’re ready to have a break from all the dancing, consider visiting our photobooth to get in some goofy pictures with some friends and make it a night to remember.

Games Night
Show your friends just how capable you are after all the hours of grinding Minecraft at Games Night as you and your team battle it out with fellow ASSOC members to take home the prize. A night of fun and games makes it a great way to destress so come along and bring your friends!

Do you know all the capital cities in the world? Find out just how that might give you the edge as your general knowledge is tested and your brain capacity is challenged in a fast paced environment. Form a team and take your shot to win the grand prize. May the best team win!

PWC Welcoming BBQ
What better way to start the new university year than a nice, relaxing and (best of all) free BBQ! This event is the perfect opportunity to broaden your horizons, meet new people and create friendships that will last a lifetime. If you’re a first year, this will be your first chance to get to know us and our society as you will be able to meet students from all years who’ll be able to help (or scare) you as you begin your actuarial journey at Macquarie. So make sure you don’t miss this opportunity!
